hey, they just took official measurement of the snow in the sierra nevada and guess what! yup. 134% of normal. looking good so far. of course, that means nothing of in we completely dry out right now. but so far, so good. lots of snow, lots of water in the high sierra. we are dry though now in the bay area. well, those temperatures are getting cold in spots. 27 degrees right now in napa. 29 in concord. 28 degrees in santa rosa and 30 degrees in livermore. going to see widespread frost around the bay area again this morning. if you are heading out another cold start to the day. afternoon sunshine then the temperatures right around cease until for this time of year. changes by the weekend though. we could see a couple of showers move back in. but for today, high pressure holding on. starting to slide eastward now. we'll see a few high clouds from this weak system making its way into far northern california. other than that we are going to keep things nice and dry. around the state, maybe some showers toward the eureka area but nice and dry into the centra valley. 50s in fres
